Born in India, Bhasin moved with her family to New York when she was 2 months old. Eventually, Bhasin and her family settled in Florida, where Bhasin spent most of her childhood and adolescent years. Bhasin knew from a very early age that she was meant to be an actor but it wasn’t until Bhasin enrolled in New York University that she was finally able to dedicate her time to being an actor.

Sasha currently stars in the hit Netflix show 'XO, Kitty' where she was added to the cast of Season 2 playing the character of Praveena, a cool queer South Asian student. Sasha also recurs on the hit Max Original 'The Pitt' where she portrays an influencer with a mystery ailment. Sasha also had her first theatrical debit as Tina Baxter in the film, “Brave the Dark" distributed by Angel Studios in theaters across the United States January 24th, 2024.

Outside of acting, Bhasin has a strong interest in fashion, inspired by the style and creativity she witnessed while in New York. When she isn't on set, she can be found in the recording studio creating experimental pop music, at Pilates class, or spending time with her two beloved pugs, Astro and Romeo.
